Hello fellow brewers,

I have a question for you about my Smoked Imperial Stout.

I brewed the beer on 9/13 and it had an OG of 1098. I used Wyeast #1728 - Scottish Ale to make a yeast starter. I racked it on 9/28. I then took another gravity reading on 11/5 and it was 1036. That would make it about 8% ABV I believe. I'm planning to let it sit for at least another month or two. Do any of you have any recommendations on how to further attenuate the beer?

Thanks for your help!

Best,
Josh

First of all, secondary is also called the "bright tank" and really isnt a fermentation stage...

Try heating the wort up a little, it might attenuate further
