I have 1 brand new 1/2" x 50' ss immersion chiller / herms coil with no fittings for sale. Was going to use this for an internal temp controller for my conical but decided to just get a freezer instead. $80 shipped to the lower 48 states. PM me if interested.

What is the diameter of the coil? Also what is the height of the highest coil? Thanks
 
Been looking into stainless chillers. Going to take a look at my pot and see if the height makes sense with my normal liquid levels. Will get back to you, thanks!
 
So silly question, if I have a 5 gallon brew pot and usually have 3 gallons of wort to cool down, will sticking this in cause overflow?

The displacement shouldn't be that great to cause it to overflow. It will definitely raise the level but not 2 gallons worth.
