Leinenkugal Sunset Wheat.

I bought Leinenkugal variety pack a few years ago. I didn't much care for anything in it, but the Sunset Wheat was so bad I didn't even want to cook with it.

What a horrible, horrible beer.

I think that's the 1000th person to claim this. I chose this as well.

Too bad we can't vote this beer off the planet.

Yes! That was my pick, im glad someone agreed. What's funny is, I waited 15 minutes for the beer guy at Trader Joes to dig in the backroom for it, after he told me it was the best beer he'd ever had. He proudly emerged with it, I took it home, opened a bottle. Took one sip... *no*. Let the wife try it.... "just dump it out" she told me. I've used one bottle in a batch of beer bread so far, but I think the other 4 are sink-bound. I wouldn't even drink this stuff if I was in jail. Pruno is way better

I don't know if Sunset Wheat is more hated than whatever their Berry beer is.

I googled them to see why their beer sucked so bad... you should read the Beer Advocate review on the sunset wheat. They liked it! But its funny as hell to read. The person doing the review said they tasted blueberries and the brewers said "yeah not many people are able to pick that up". Welcome to off-flavors bud.

I still like my fruity pebbles flavored beer more than anything else Leinies sells.
