Default So Far So Good!!!

Not a big fan of brown ales. But my brother is he drinks alot of bad penny and new castle. Anyway I brewed up a honey brown ale for him. It's been primary 2 weeks. I was racking some cider so I was like let me take a hydro reading for shi*s and gigs. It was at like 1.012 from OG OF 1.055. And tasted and looked amazing. I think I'm a fan of brown ales now. Looks pretty clear after 14 days 2 !

I've got a brown in bottles right now. Turned out pretty sweet. Wasn't a big fan of browns either but this one isn't as sweet has a nice hop hit. It's always nice to find a palate for more beer styles. That's an Irish red in the Carboy by the way. Cheers

Part of the joy of brewing is expanding your appreciation of styles you didn't previously care for.
