My Red Ale was in primary for 14 days. I tested the gravity on the 12th and 14th day and it was a steady 1.012. I racked to the secondary a month ago and it hasn't even begun to clear up. Does this seem normal?

I have had beers cloudy for a long time until I chilled them. But it also seems to me that sometimes a chill can remain though have no effect on the flavour.

Try some gelatin finings, and after a few days keg it or bottle it.

Just make sure you let the gelatin bloom in cool water before heating it up to make it clear. (Don't boil the gelatin)

I sometimes use gelatin to get my beer crystal clear if it's not dropping out fast enough.

Let me know if that's confusing, I've had a few delicious northern brown amazingness so far tonight.
