I have left over Chinook hops from me bad last batch 7/12/13 I smelled them. They smelled just fine. I do have another fresh bag. Just wondering if any one would still use the old ones from July, keeping the other for a furture batch?
How long do hops keep?

If they still smell fresh you'll be fine. There are places to figure out the AAs you've lost so far, but as long as they were kept cold and out of UV light, I definitely wouldn't just toss them out.

Freezer is better. I vacuum seal and in the freezer they go..

Freezer here too, I have some over a year old. Smell just fine.
