I'm making a big DIPA. Calculator says it will be 1.104 OG, 1.027 FG, but that is including 2 lbs of honey, which I intend to put into the secondary. How do I account for that in my OG/FG calculations? Thanks!

Raw honey provides around 35 gravity points per pound, so two pounds would total 70 points. If your volume going into the fermenter was 5 gallons, the honey would make up 14 points of the recipe OG, so you can subtract that to know what your hydrometer should read when you fill your fermenter.

The FG isn't going to change if you let the honey you add ferment out...

Cheers!
