What's the diff?

3-4 weeks at 34 in secondary then bottle
OR
bottle right after primary has reached FG, then store at 34 for 3-4 weeks?

Are you force-carbonating or priming?

Either way, dissolved CO2 makes carbonic acid, and will cause a different evolution of flavor than if you left it in the secondary w/o carbonation. Priming will give a slower build-up of CO2.

Maybe try bottling half you batch, lager the other half in a carboy (flush the airspace with CO2) and see how they taste.

Nice thing about homebrewing, you can experiment. So, split the batch & let us know.

I don't have a way to force carbonate and so I can't purge that air space either.
