Default carbonating in 1 gallon jugs?

Hello all - I've just recently started brewing....but I really only have room for one gallon recipes for now.

Would there be a problem with bottling/carbonating in one gallon jugs? These would take up less space (theoretically).

Robbie

Unless the jugs are designed to handle pressure they will explode. You can use them to ferment small batches as long as there is an airlock to release the pressure. Stick to beer & champange bottles for carbonation.
