Hi!

Brew day today.

At dough-in, I forgot to add the salts. I added them 10 min. after. Me ok? I know it's still gonna be beer, but will the mash benefit from the salts?

Thanks for alleviating my worrisome heart!

Yes, it is far better to add all minerals and acids directly to the water before adding any grain. Adding them to the water allows you to make sure that they are fully dissolved and dispersed in the water. If you add them to the mash, it is very difficult to get them dispersed evenly throughout the mash.

While that late mineral addition was not ideal, it was better than nothing.
