I purchased a Haier Kegerator from Menards yesterday. Until my 5 gallon Cornie's are ready to fill, I bought a 1/4 barrel of MGD from my local beer store. Yeah...don't give me a hard time.... I have the CO2 pressure set to approximately 11lbs of pressure and it has cooled down to 40F degrees.

My problem is that I'm still getting about 90% foam. Should I dial down the pressure?

Please advise

Part of the problem is the high carbonation level of the beer as sold. Try reducing the temperature to 34F. That will help keep the CO2 in solution.

Also if you have a tower that needs to be cooled. You must have a fan blowing in the tower. Just being having a hole in the frige for the tower is not enough.
