Pushed the stopper through into carboy DAM!

1st day of primary fermentation, hefeweizen going nutso with foam up the ying, putting in a blowoff tube and.... DAM pushed it all the way through and watched it fall into the wonderful, orange-colored, cloudy abyss!

Question #1: should i worry about the rubber stopper being at the bottom of my primary fermentation? I had just sprayed with star-san (hence why it went through the top of the carboy). Maybe not as thorough of a spray as i would have wished although!

Question #2: how the heck do you get that sucka outta there? SOB! any suggestions?
