Propane Burner Question

So I just got a SP-10 and am going to be using it with my next batch. I'm curious how people use these for their boils. Do you turn it to high until the water starts boiling and then turn it down? Or do you keep it around medium the whole time?
 
I run mine at ~90% or so to get it up to a boil, and then yeah, I turn it down as low as I can to maintain the rolling boil....
 
Did a batch with my son using the SP-10 last week, and that's basically the same method we used- high heat until boil, then the minimum required for a bubbling boil.
