Hello all fellow brewers;
I promise to keep this concise and to the point. When it comes to chemistry (both, mater and human chemistry) Im inept. Im researching how to passivate my stainless steel keggle, John Palmer and other books / posts says to use oxalic acid based kitchen cleanser. Nowhere was I able to find a list of those (a commercial name), is OxiClean considered oxalic acid? I doubt it measures 12 PH when dissolved in water! I think the only commercial product I can think of is Bar Keeper Friend, but is Ajax or Comet the same?
The summary of my question is: what commercially available oxalic acid based kitchen cleanser can I get?
Cheers to all
