Hey all, I'm fixin to brew tomorrow at some time and just realized that I need a bin for sanitizer. I have an old rubbermaid that I had been using in my garden. Mostly for drying and storing leaves. Right now, its empty (and my freezer is full of cookies ). My question is pretty noobish but is it cool to wash out this bin then use for sanitizer? I know for a fact that there has been moldly leaves in there on several occasions. I'm kinda thinking it shouldn't matter because how do you infect disinfectant?
Another quick question while I'm at it. I'm a Chef and at work we use no rince quartanary sanitizer on all food surfaces, I can get this stuff in pales for relativly little (sales rep is good to me). Could I use this stuff for brew sanitizer or might it be a yeast murderer?
Thanks a lot for the help peeps!!
