Blichmann autosparge modification question.

I am in the process of building my new all grain setup with a new brew stand and blichmann boilermakers and was curious if any of you guys have modified setups using the autosparge on your mash tuns. I saw this video: and noticed he had a cam lock system installed and was recirculating his wort into the autosparge rubber tube. I noticed he made the modification but was curious if you guys have any idea how he got this to work.

do any of you have a similar setup or can point me to a similar thread?

Looks like he has just screwed a 1/2" Cam Lock Cam and Groove Adapter X 1/2" Female NPT straight onto the threads of the auto sparge.
