Is the morebeer.com deal good with a 10% off or can I make that with an alum pot with weldless valve?

If you don't already have a propane burner, consider getting a simple Turkey fryer kit. I got a 32 qt aluminum pot, cover, fryer basket (important for Brew in a Bag AG), and propane burner for $45. Picked it up at Sears I think.

The only thing I would have changed is to go bigger on pot. 40 qt would have been much better.

Stainless is nice, don't get me wrong. I just didn't want to spend the $$$ on it, as alunimum conducts heat better anyway. You do have to build up the initial oxide layer with aluminum before using for the 1st time.

Go for the aluminum pot, and install a weldless valve yourself. Super easy, super cheap, and will work as good as an SS pot. No real reason to do otherwise.

Oh, and agree with wilserbrewer - 40qt pot.
