Is it ever ok to go straight from the primary, into the keg and put the keg on gas in the fridge? I do the set it and forget it method, so I wouldn't touch it for another two weeks anyway. I do drink it pretty slowly usually, so will it continue to condition while I'm drinking it?

Thanks

thats what I do... it does get better over time still

Just klicked my first lager and I went straight to the keg from the primary. I was fortunate to have a garage at the right temperatures for almost 2 months though to condition it. I then put it in the fridge and carbed it up over two weeks before tapping. It got better as I poured and best at the last few pints. Unfortunetly, it kicked last night as I brewed an American Pale Ale. Good ending to a good, if not quite perfect first brew lager.

Salute! :mug:
