I grew my own scoby, it came out great, almost picture perfect. First fermentation of about a gallon went fine. It seems to taste OK. I just finished the second fermentation in 16oz glass bottles. I did a couple with ginger (way too much, my fault) and a few with mango (not bad). Should it be growing baby scobys in the 16 oz bottles, cuz it seems like it is?

Each fermentation will produce another SCOBY. I used to make ACV and learned that the hard way. Used a 1 gallon jug and, when I drained off vinegar for use, would replace it with already fermented cider. After doing that 4 times. I had 5 SCOBYs in the jug. The oldstr one had grown so thick that I had one hell of a time getting it out.
