Just made my first starter this morning from some slurry of us-05. Fermentation is well under way...plenty of foaming. I plan to brew tomorrow at noon. My problem is what temperature should I keep it at until then.

room temp of 75 degrees?

or fermentation chamber temperature of 64?

I will be pitching the hole thing into my beer so I was thinking of letting it go at 64 degrees for the next 20 hours or so??

What do you guys think.

As long as it's done fermenting, either way should be fine. Better to go with the fermentation temp of the brew you're doing, but let it down slow.

Hmmm. Still frementing. Just started frementing 5 hours ago. I put it in the 64 degree chamber. Hoping to pitch tomorrow during high krausen.
