yeast question

I went to the LHBS today and bought some yeast for my first mead attempt early this week. When I got home I couldnt find the yeast. Now, my LHBS is only open thurs-sun and I was going to put this together mon or tues. I have some montrachet in the fridge from past apple-ish wine-ish endevours. Would this work with a mead or should I wait until I can get back to the store?

It will make a very dry mead or a really big sweet mead that takes 3 years to clear.
