Hi
I am going to make mead with little grapes and pomegranate molasses. Majority of course it will be honey with around 15% of molasses.
So with fruit molasses in the must do I need to add a yeast nutrient or not?

Probably yes.

What do you mean by fruit molasses? Molasses typically refers to a boiled cane sugar product.
There is a thing called grape and pomegranate molasses. Google it.
Though yes commonly known molasses are sugar cane ones used for making Rum.
Molasses can be made by boiling any fruit juice into a thicker consistency. Before the creation of white sugar molasses were used widely.
No one used molasses in mead before as on internet I can't find any such recipe. Though I am gonna use them. It should turn out good.

Not molasses. Fruit syrup.

To answer your question, you need to know the YAN contribution of the fruit. Nutritient additions are nearly all about the YAN.

Pomegranates and grapes have enough Yan right?
Should be enough with using a 1tsp dead yeast nutrient per gallon of mead?
