Runt my mash trying to do a step profile in an electric urn, BIAB.

Did not notice until cleaning kettle after pitching.

Going to let ferment and see but assuming it's got a bad taste would the yeast be reusable, or would it carry the taste on?

I have no idea how the yeast will react to the burnt mash. If the finished beer has a weird, burnt-type taste, I would discard the yeast. If not, you might be ok.
