My Brewers Best American Cream Ale appears to be finished fermenting. The OG was 1050 and the FG was 1012, which makes sense since I used extra DME in place of the corn sugar. Now, to bottle or to keg.
Next step all grain!

Busted in early--I'm not really good at waiting--and opened one of my grolsh bottles of the cream ale to see how carbonated it was and to taste. I'm going to taste one next week as well and see how it changes. It is carbonated lightly. Has a slight bandaid taste I think but I used all one-step as a sanitizer and cleanser. It actually tastes good and the bandaid taste is very slight. It definitely is green. The Mr. Beer glicksture is chilling in the fridge and I'm going to try that. It stayed in the primary for 2 weeks.

Maybe I'm not familiar with the willamette hops. It does taste a touch like a heavy budweiser.

Ohh boy! The Mr. Beer double kit tastes horrible in comparison to the extract brew. I can't wait to try all grain!

All-grain is good. I have not looked back. The ability to mess with everything in all-grain is the fun: Time, temp, ingredients....
