Hello there,

I got this Y-Splitter for my double manifold because I just added a third faucet to my double tower. However I tightened all this together with plumbers tape and it still leaks. Now before you of I tightened it enough. I literally couldn’t tighten it anymore. I used a wrench and cranked those connections down. As humanly as i possibly could.

It’s leaking at the two connections where the Y Splits. I was going to take it apart and return it. But if someone has a fix I’d like to hear it.

Any ideas? Or should I return it? I got it from homebrew supply on amazon. So I feel it is of high quality.

Thanks,

Check it for cracks now that you cranked it down so tightly.

If there are none, remove the fittings from the block. Clean everything very well, then apply a thread sealer (I use rectorseal # 5) on the male threads of the fittings before reassembly.
