Tonight I swung past a LHBS that's usually out of my way, but I was in the area, so...
I raided the yeast bargain bin (7 yeast packs and Wyeast Brett C - all for a grand total of $4!) and one was 3739 Flanders Golden Ale. I haven't used this strain before, but it's Belgian, so it's gotta be good, right? Sounds highly attenuative, but I don't see anything here about flavors. Anyone willing to share their experience and maybe compare to other Belgian strains? The Wyeast website says the usual - balanced phenols and esters. Can anyone get more specific than that?
