Wyeast 3522 belgian ardennes good for a dubbel?

I accidentally ordered two packets of Wyeast 3522 belgian ardennes with my last order, which i haven't used before. I had been planning to do a belgian dubbel soon with a grain bill of belgian pilsner, a little munich and some special B with a couple pounds of sugar added during peak fermentation. i got this strain for a palm speciale clone because i heard the flavors are a little more reserved and subtle than other belgian strains. would it work for a belgian dubbel or should i just use it for a nice belgian blonde?

I used it for a Dubbel and am quite happy with the results. I would say the description at Wyeast website is spot on.

Ardennes is fairly clean at lower temps, just a little clove and not much banana, works good for Belgian blondes, also makes a nice wheat beer. I used it for a tripel toward the upper end of the temp range and got more banana then I like. It needs extra head room in the fermentor or a blow-off tube.

I used 3787 trappist high gravity for a dubbel that turned out pretty good.

I am about to use it at an Orval clone (BYO recipe) coupled with Brett Bruxelensis at the secondary...let's see what happens.
