wyeast 3068 should I split it up?

So I'm going to try to make a 3 gallon German wheat beer. From what was on the wyeast site it said if you over pitch you will loose most of the ester character. I would like to really try too keep this beer to style so should I just split it in half?

No I would use the proper amount or maybe 10% less, then underoxygenate a bit to bring out the esters. Pitching too much less risks underattenuation.
