I have read about Braggot but have no idea how to start. I was thinking for the first time I woudl use an extract(??) and Kveik Yeast.

I would be glad for any help.

Braggot can be quite a wide category, any idea of what kind? The last braggot I did was an American wheat with alfalfa honey.

I've made braggot about 5 times. My last recipe, and the first one to come out really well:

(2.5 gallon batch)
7 lbs. pilsner
0.5 lb. Munich
0.25 lb. carafa special III
0.5 lb. chocolate
0.25 lb. roasted barley
3 lbs. raw buckwheat honey (at flameout)

16 g Magnum (10.6% AA) @ 60 min.
US-05

OG: 1.123
FG: 1.031

Three things:
  1. I found that there's a lot going on, so I used a clean yeast and only bittering hops.
  2. Add the honey at flameout or later.
  3. If you really want to taste the honey, consider using some honey malt.
