Wot no gas?

Have had a lager in bottle for way over 10days and no gas. i opened one bottle and there is pressure , just no carbonation. have moved it a warmer spot>? wots gone wrong? the bottle have the normal amound of sediment in it ? any ideas?
can it be rescued if it does not gas?
am a new guy, so am leaning, as fast as i can...
