Ok....trying to brew a Sam Adam's Noble Pils clone

11# German 2 Row Pils
.75# Cara Pils
2# Malteurop

Mash @ 1.25qt/lb

Mash 80% of grain bill @ 1.25qt/lb

Strike it 130 degrees for a 122 temp for 20min
Hit it with 1gal of boiling water to raise the grain bed (quickly) to 153

*Failed to raise to 153 so hit with an additional gallon split 2 times (half gallon each time) with 200 degree boiling water.

StartedMashing at 1:09PM finish at 2:20PM

I have a picture but do not know how to add it to this thread. It looks very milky and it seems wrong....any help?

Hard to tell without a picture. Did you vorlauf? Could just be a lot of hop break in your kettle.

To get a picture, try hosting it on an image site like flickr.
