I have a chance at getting 60 ft of 5/8 inch copper tubing for 27 bucks and am wondering if anyone has made a wort chiller out of copper this size? I currently brew 10 to 12 gallon batches so I'm thinking if I can make the Coil, this would be perfect for batch's this size?

Are there any con's for using this diameter copper? anyone have any pics of something like this?

thanks

Sounds like a great deal to me. Assuming you can bend it nicely I don't see any cons.

Kegs are a good size to bend your tubing around to get a nice coil.

The only con is bending it...the stuff it heavy, thick, and 60ft is a chore to bend around a keg.....Make sure you have a couple beers ready for consumption.
