I will be attempting a Pumpkin Ale this weekend on my new brew system.
I am a little concerned about having all that pumpkin gunk run through my new Blichman Wort Chiller. Will it clog it up? I have a false bottom and I also put one of those stainless screen Tea Balls on the end of my dip tube in my keggle. Kind of worried about those clogging up too.
I didn't have to worry about this stuff when I was doing extract... lol!
What do you think? Should I worry about this? Is there anything I can do to minimize pumpkin sludge in my Chiller and pump etc...?
