Highland's Cold Mountain Winter Ale is probably one of the BEST beer's I've ever had!

Cold Mountain Winter Ale

Our ever-changing spiced winter seasonal. A tasty brew that complements all your holiday festivities. It is typically malty in body, lightly hopped, and rounded out with spices that we vary from year to year.

The Oatmeal Porter hits the spot, too.

Indeed it does.

I also am a big fan of the Kashmir IPA and their staple Gaelic Ale.

I have not tried their Mocha Stout yet, but maybe I'll get the chance at the festival.

bootytrapper... are you attending this festival, too?

Well, guys.

Since my wife is pretty sick from being pregnant, I don't want to leave her alone for a weekenend and I won't be going a climbing trip the last April weekend.

So I'm able to join you for the Beer Festival in Raleigh. Do you think they still have tickets?

I'll be the handsome stud with two or three other guys, probably wearing Boston Red Sox hats.

I'll be the slightly better looking one. :)

DUDE:are you going to make it down?

Our LHBS in Raleigh (American Brewmaster) is going to have a booth or table set up here and they are giving away a kegerator. (There are no details in the email I got to say how the recipient is decided, but I'm guessing it's a raffle or something like that.)

Yup... There is an intensive traning course in the Santa Cruz mountains followed by a dissertation of sorts where you have to go to Las Vegas and carry out a hit on a casino pit-boss without being caught on one of the gazillion cameras.

I've got you covered, I'll be picking up 2 tickets for the 12-4 session. When I have them I'll send you a PM with my e-mail address (for Paypal)

And hopefully none of the other locals is doing the same w/o posting here ;)
