This is petty but when people use Cx instead of the word Customer it pisses me off. That abbreviation is already used for the major product line.

Rant over.

What I was getting at is in the notes that my coworkers write they are using Cx instead of typing the word Customer. It annoys the hell out of me because CX is a product line the notes are about.

Example:
Cx called in on his Cx for such and such issue.

Kind of off-topic:

As I customer, I hate it when a business refers to me as a "guest". A local car dealership does that and I hate it. If I were a "guest" they should fix my car for free. I don't charge my guests at home for anything, I don't think they should, either. I am a customer, dammit!

I get what you're saying, but it's kind of a weak rant.

To eliminate confusion, I'd suggest you start abbreviating "customer" as "c*nt."

Oh I know it is petty and really nothing to get worked up about, it just annoys me. Everything at work is shorthand or coded and I personally think the notes should be professional. In my opinion abbreviating every word is confusing and is not professional.
