Does anyone every tried a Raspberry Witbier if so how did it turned out? Id like to know, brewing one tonight but wondering if I should put that extract before the bottling.

cheers

Thanks for the links Matt. My wife planted raspberry bush in our yard last year, it was just bare for the initial year but this year its going crazy. Looks like I'll be brewing a few different raspberry brews.

A little advice for that raspberry bush if not then disregard but my wife and I have one in our back yard...wild we didn't plant...ours produces about a pound pound and half per year...we've been harvesting now going on three years...

Also, gotta make sure you maintain it...that sucker will over take anything in its path...it moved into our hydrangeas and our vines...so we had to cut back this year but still hopeful for good results!

Good luck and enjoy the berries...nothing better than fresh berries right off the vine!

I've noticed that, its spread out a lot in one year and with all those thorns its going to be "fun" keeping kept in check. Wifey's already talking about moving to a smaller area for next year. It can fight out with the mint there another Borg like plant.

Raspberry Berliner weisse is pretty popular... Sour tart sweet. Raspberry and other syrups are added to the glass as you pour, I would assume making a raspberry puree yourself and throwing it in a secondary would probably be better than buying a puree in a can.
