I'm sure you guys get a lot of these, but I'm sure this one is a new one. I have 2 brews on now, both brewhouse pre made wort kits. The pale wheat ale is in the secondary and the Munich dark lager I started yesterday. The problem is the top up water I used. These kits require 8L of top up water. My parents have access to good well water, so when they came to visit they brought me a jug. When they left, I wasn't home, so they poured the water into a jug I had in the basement. I came to find out after that this was the jug I use for filtering my other home brew, of the distilled variety. The good drinking water jug i thought it was was still in the camper when i went in there. I tasted the water and that sulphur taste is there about as strong as the chlorine on my tap water. What effect do you think this will have on my beer?
