Will these beers lose flavor too soon?

I'm looking to cook up a pumpkin ale, and McTarnamins' Banana Bread Holiday Ale. Would something like the Holiday Ale age well for say 4-6 months? Or do you think it would be prone to losing a lot of the flavor ala dry hopping?
And what about pumpkin ales? How long is good for those to age typically?

Well I was just informed that if I want my pumpkin ale to be all nice and ready by October, that I should brew it now.

So you'll be fine.

Remember bigger beers, with a lot of fermentables benefit from aging.

Aging won't hurt of course, but I brew my pumpkin in August with no issues. My OG is usually no higher than 1.060 though, so it needs less time...
 
You can brew a pumpkin ale as late as early September as long as it is not a big beer. That said, you could also brew one now and it would be just fine. Most beers reach their peak around 3 months from brew day.

That's good to know...I was originally planning to do mine then, until my brew buddy said that he's doing his in the next week or so...

I have other brews I want to do first.

I should mention I spice mine with "tea" made from boiling the spices seperately. I then add the tea to the keg before carbing. I don't if that makes any difference regarding time, but it makes it easier to spice the beer...
