will it work for a bottle

I found these at Homegoods for a buck. I am wondering if you guys think it will work for bottling? The cap is hard plastic with a rubber gasket.

You won't be able to post a picture until you hit twenty posts... also you need a direct link to the picture not to the page the picture is on.

I prefer PhotoBucket for that. Much easier to link to and use IMHO.

there is no rating, that is my main concern. Yeah I wouldn't have much of a choice but to drink it all.

My biggest concern would be it not being rated. That would make one hell of a bottle bomb. Also it is clear glass... not a big fan of clear glass for bottling. I do use growlers for some of my batch when I bottle and those work great.

I think I am going to have agree with you would have been very cheap, convenient, and easy to clean but probably not worth the risk.

I don't know about you guys, but I usually open up about one or two glass barrels every time I sit down and drink.
