I don't have a fridge or freezer large enough to cold crash an IPA--I don't really mind hazy beer but if I add gelatin will it have an adverse effect on the beer?

My thought was I'd add gelatin in the primary, and then add dry hops in the primary and then bottle. But I don't want to lose hop flavor along the way just for aesthetics.

I see someone has linked to my old blog post.

Just to answer the OP's comment directly, no, gelatin will not strip out hop oils any more than protein/yeast precipitation otherwise would. Gelatin accelerates this process, nothing more.

That said, it is pretty well accepted that hop compounds (which are not overly soluble) do get pulled to some extend out of beers when yeast and proteins sediment. So whether you cold-crash, gelatin, filter, etc, you will loose some hop bitterness/character. How much seems to be a bit unclear, ut the effect isn't huge (i.e. you may go form 65IBU to 63IBU; you're not going to go to 6IBU).
