I dryhopped 5 gallons of IPA with 3oz of pellet hops in secondary. While transferring to keg I forgot to put a filter on the end of the racking tube. I'm forcecarbing and cold crashing as I type, and, I had to pull a sample just because I'm way too eager to drink this IPA. I have discovered that there's a ridiculous amount of hop particles making their way into my glass. Meh.
Should I stop the force carbonation process, add gelatin to the cold, half-carbonated keg, keep it in the kegerator, wait 3 to 5 days...and pull a sample in hopes that the gelatin drops all hop particles to the bottom that I can pull out in 1 or 2 pints? Or can I trust that the hop particles will drop to the bottom of the keg on their own, due to the cold crash. Thanks.
