Hello Everyone,
We found a sprawling hop complex up by the barn the other day. Our known/cultivated hops are all almost ready for harvest, and these guys don't have cones, nor what I would call male flowers. I included a few picts - are there male or female, any opinions? There are two plants. Thanks!

I think Nagmay hit it. We used to see it growing along the railroad right-of-way and it never really did seem to form any true cones. The 'buds' looked a lot more like pot and unlike lupulus, there didn't seem to be much of a size difference between the main stem and the laterals. Once you got deeper into it, it stuck to your clothing like this beast: http://www.eattheweeds.com/galium-aparine-goosegrass-on-the-loose-2/
