Ever since the kegerator system got all set up...it's like a virtual paradise at my house. Just head down to the brewery with my husband...3 home brews on tap...it's like a mini vacation!

chefmike I have to know.what is "wife stout"?

Laughing... it was a stout that I threw together for my wife with what I had... I think it is at 3.2%. But nice and roasty. I mixed one with cider last night for kicks.

It just lacks the body that I desire (in a stout), hence wife stout... crap...I am gonna get in trouble now!

I have a keg of stout waiting to go on tap for like the last three months. I just kicked it's brother after putting it on tap, taking it off, serving it at a party, in the garage, back on tap, back off tap, back on....you get the idea. Maybe I will put it on tap for harvest. Good thing to wake up with.

I will see this winter... but I may just keep bottling my stout. I dont seem to go through them like some of my other recipes. I am not sure I want it in that pipeline. Maybe something will change my mind.

Maybe winter will leave me wanting it every night...

I want it every night regardless of it being winter or not.

I am about to bottle up something for the first time. It is nice to be able to have 5 gallons cold though. Just in case

and I live in the south, so I keg so I can quickly fill my coffee mug and no one is the wiser?

Yep, it's pool and homebrew time when I get home too.

My dog had surgery yesterday so I have to ice her knew most of the night anyways plus she can't get in the pool for a long time so I may not want to rub it in that I am in the pool.

Maybe I'll let her have some homebrew though.

You mean everyone doesn't have a kegerator in the office? Unfortantly it's usually BMC, but free beer at work isn't bad even in that case
