Why doesn't Wendy's toast their buns

They're so dry and airy they need to toast these things. And maybe butter the bottoms.....

Or maybe a little whole grain. Wendy's buns might as well be made out of spun sugar for the amount of nutrition in them.

They used to. First job I had was at Wendy's putting buns through the toaster machine thing.

I was a "Bun Man" once at Hardee's.

I still like Wendy's though. Even with plain buns they're pretty good burger, compared to some other places.
