Did a partial mash this past Saturday with my brother and friend. They've never done it before so I let them do a lot of the actual brewing (with lots of direction of course) while I took care of the sanitization of the equipment and did some stuff around the house. First time using WLP029 and I don't think the wort got aerated well, so I'm TRYING to wait patiently for some signs of life. I probably should have been a little more involved with the post boil activities. Oh well, we'll still have beer in the end even if it wasn't what I was shooting for. I think we missed the mark on the OG by a mile. Might end up having a really tasty near beer.

Just got done brewing a Columbus IPA - took right at 4 hours. My AG process is getting much more efficient.

I just lit the fire on a 5 gallon batch of AHS Warrior Pale. In a few minutes I will pop the top off an AHS IPA and settle in for an evening of brew. :mug:
