Hi folks,
I'm thinking of making a rye session ale with a single hop. I was originally going to go with Glacier, but my LHBS is out. I'm thinking of using Mt. Hood. They're both around 4-5% AA and low co-humulone, though Mt. Hood has more European roots.
Any thoughts?
Here's the recipe for 5.5 gallons
7# British Pale
2# Malted Rye
1# Victory
1 oz Mt. Hood (4.7% AA) at 60 min
.5 oz Mt. Hood at 30 min
.5 oz Mt. Hood at 5 min
1 oz. Mt. Hood at dry hop
ABV: 5%
IBU: 23
