So I put a into of fermentables into a couple of carboys to bring abc to about 14% or so.. to one of those I added some celestial seasonings gingerbread tea. Ingredients are cinnamon, ginger, roasted barley. That's it in that order. Seeing how the apple flavor fades and any fruit flavors fade by the end of secondary I added six bags to ensure that the flavor would take. Ummmm yeah I thieved some last night and it def took! Not sire if I like it or not yet or if there is a non uniform distribution of the tea in the carboy but HOLY GINGER! A NOTE TO ALL ADDING SPICES LESS IS MORE

especially ginger, it hides in the background and leaps out when other sharp flavors start to subside...
