evilgrin0029.gif

Well, since 4:30.

First taking care of the 9-month old (4:30)...then the 3-yr old decides that 5:15 is a good time to start the weekend...now the 9-month old up again (for good) at 6:45.

Your early morning sounds better :mug:

I've been up since 11 PM the previous night! So put that in your pope and smoke it!

I've been at work :(

there were a few of us on the chat until 4 where the hell where you?:D

Let's see...heating strike water, lighting coals, weighing/crushing grain, cutting wood discs for the smoker...:cross:

Anyway, all done. Racked the RIS onto a previous cake from a Special Bitter. 1.092 OG. The boil-down took for-f*ckin-ever, though...probably 2.5 hrs at the least. That's what happens w/ 18lbs of grain and 14 gallons of water.

Why? And how many RIS's do you brew?

I'm up since 6:30. I'm cooking for 25 people today. My 2 Pork Shoulders came out at 8:15

Nice looking shoulders. I was up that early because the butts need a good 10-12 hours on the smoker, and we're trying to finish them up as early as possible so we can get on the road up to my mom's place for wifey's b-day party tomorrow, which is what the bbq is for. The RIS was a last-minute thing, since I'd be up tending the smoker anyway.

I brew lots of RIS's. Actually this is only the second "normal" RIS I've brewed after the 888. The others have just been coffee-chocolate IS's, which is not the same in any way.
