Woke up this morning and found little white sports on top of my yeast starter. All were right about the same size. I don't use a stir plate I just swirl when I walk by in a 1 gallon jar. I didn't take a pic but my brew day isn't till Monday so I will if t happens again. Any ideas? Mold? Infection? Is it no good any more. Its my last bit of San Diego super but I do have California ale if I have to throw it out. Thanks!

We can't tell much without pictures, but if the spots are uniform, not fuzzy or stringy you likely are just seeing yeast rafts floating on the surface.
