If you hear anything, its because you have a pretty big leak. You can have silent leaks, but if you hear it...its a big leak.

I can't see the link here at work, but I'd get some soapy water or leak finder fluid and figure it out before you run out of CO2.

probably need to wrap threads in teflon tape, and tighten fittings...
 
The sound only occurs when air is flowing (eg, if I purge the keg, or pour a glass), otherwise, it's perfectly silent.
 
Thanks, I was hoping it was something to do with the tubing (I have the cheap, clear 5/16" ID hose) since that is much easier to replace.
 
Ahhh, yep if it only whistles when you're knowingly releasing gas, I retract my statement on a leak. Makes perfect sense that the check valves would have a little 'wurrrrr' to em.
